Razorleaf recently learned that R2018x Fix Pack (FP) 1806 of Dassault’s 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, will support Dassault license services (DSLS) on Microsoft Hyper-V. Customers then must make exceptions to their own policies to support Dassault licensing. Lack of support for virtual server licensing is a challenge when a customer has an IT policy that supports ONLY virtual servers. We have heard complaints from customers for years. However, we have learned that Dassault will now support license server virtualization.ĭassault Systèmes is infamous for not supporting virtual servers for its licensing services. This is a challenge when a company supports only virtual servers. It has long been known that Dassault Systèmes would not support their license services on virtualized servers.
